A true and sad story about a young man with Cerebral Palsy

A man with cerebral palsy was turned away from a pub after staff refused to believe he was over 18 – despite him showing nine forms of ID. Staff refused to accept ID including a driver’s license and university card for Joe Coyle, 22, saying these could be fake.”

“I’ve been bullied a lot in the past and this felt like being back at school. It was really humiliating.”

I am so disappointed to read articles like this. It is a shame that people are not aware of physical disabilities and think all those people have mental problems. I think we (bloggers, conductors and people interested in CP) have to unite against such problems, or at least feature this problem on sites such as my blog or on community sites to raise awareness about CP and how these people deal with this day by day.
